A Chill Night of Games, Good Food, and New Friends
Laser Tag, Laughs, and Awesome Memories
Some nights are just packed with fun, but few can match the happiness and good vibes we felt at our recent Family Fun Night at church. We took over the fellowship hall and some outdoor space, bringing together both new and familiar faces for an evening of laughter, games, and a real sense of togetherness.
The Fun Kicks Off
Right from the start, you could feel the buzz. Families showed up with kids in tow—everyone excited for a night out. We had 41 people join in, including a bunch of new families who were welcomed with open arms and big smiles.
As soon as you walked in, the atmosphere was super friendly. The sounds of kids laughing and people catching up filled the air, and it was clear this was going to be a night to remember.

Laser Tag: The Main Attraction
The highlight? Laser tag! Kids, teens, and even the adults got in on the action with glowing headbands and laser blasters, eager for some friendly competition. For some people, it was their first time; others were laser tag pros. But no matter your skill level, everyone had a blast.
Once the lights dimmed, the church lot turned into the coolest battleground. Teams were formed, wild strategies were shared, and the laughter was non-stop. It wasn't about winning—it was just about having a good time together. There were parents teaming up with their kids, siblings against siblings, and even a few grandparents showing off their moves. For a bit, everyone just played and had fun.
So Many Games:
Board Games, Billiards,
Ping Pong, and Air Hockey
But laser tag wasn’t the only thing on tap. The place was set up with all kinds of games, so there was something for everyone:
· Board Games: From checkers to Uno, tables were packed with people laughing, scheming, and sharing some friendly rivalry.
· Billiards: The sound of the balls and cheers kept things lively as everyone from newbies to pool sharks took a turn.
· Ping Pong: The ping pong table was busy all night, with fast-paced rallies and plenty of laughs.
· Air Hockey: This one was a real hit—quick games, lots of high-fives, and plenty of celebrations for every goal.
Every corner was alive with energy, and it was easy to make new friends over a game or two.
Snack Time!
Let’s be real—no church event is complete without snacks. The food table was loaded:

Piping hot pizza slices
Hearty homemade meatballs
Fresh fruit tray
Chips and crackers for quick bites
Cold drinks
Besides being tasty, the snack area was the perfect spot to grab a bite, chat, and take a quick break before jumping back into the fun.
New Faces, New Friends
The best part? Seeing so many new families join us. For a lot of them, it was their first time at a church event, but nobody stayed a stranger for long. Church members made sure everyone felt at home, introduced themselves, and even invited people to come back for more events.
By the end of the night, it was hard to tell who was new and who’d been around forever. Kids who started out shy were playing together, parents swapped numbers, and everyone left with a bigger circle of friends.

Looking Back
As things wrapped up, the hall was still buzzing with good energy. Sure, the games and food were awesome, but what really stood out was how everyone came together and had a genuinely great time.
People hung around to say thanks, share laughs, and already start planning the next event. Laser tag might be making another appearance soon—along with a few new games!
Can’t Wait for Next Time!
This Family Fun Night was more than just an event—it was a reminder of how great it feels to have fun together, meet new people, and be part of a welcoming community. Here’s to more laughter, more games, and even more friends next time. See you there!
